JANICE YOUNG Obituary
Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1943 to Bob and Dorothy Jones. Janice attended nursing school in Philadelphia and earned a degree at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
Janice was the beloved wife of Philip Young, Sister of Peggy, Robin, and Tracy, the devoted mother of Joel and Laura Kaye, Stepmother to Kim Kassin and Philip Stephen Young, and the adored "Grammy" to her grandchildren, Alex, Kate, Jacob and Rumi whom she showered with endless affection and happiness. She was also a beloved Aunt to Ashley, Dylan, Christopher, Luna, Rocko and Steven. Her love knew no bounds, and her smile was always a sanctuary for family and the many, many friends she kept throughout her years.
A steadfast and wonderful friend, Janice had a rare gift for making others feel deeply seen and valued. Janice leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion. She taught by example-how to listen with care, show up with consistency, and love without condition. She will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her memory be a blessing.

My heart is broken. My deepest condolences to Phillip and family. I could not have asked for a sweeter friend. This picture is a tribute to Janice´s heart for her beloved Laura. Each a year I received her specially made Angel in memory of sweet Laura. Always a treasure! Always a joy! Rest well my friend.

Janice was a gem of a friend. Our children grew up together in Queens.
We kept in touch for over 45 years. We both lost a child and we were at each other´s side through many ups and downs. It breaks my heart that
Janice is gone but our fond friendship and memories will live on forever.

My Sister Janice was the very best human I ever knew. Even after losing her beautiful daughter, Laura, she had the most generous loving positive spirit. She was really funny and helped me through some tough times. She and Philip were a happy and important part of our lives. Ashley, Dylan and I will all miss her terribly.
