A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Janie Viola Dixon Kirkland age 70 will be held Wednesday November 30 at 2:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Glenn White will officiate. Burial will be in the Kirkland Family Cemetery, 1402 Scott Pond Road, Hartsville. Visitation will be held Tuesday November 29 from 5-7 pm at Norton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kirkland was born in Beaufort, S.C. a daughter of the late Carrigan and Rose Johnson Dixon. She was a loving wife, Mom and Nona. She loved going to church and spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving is her husband, Jerome Daniel (Danny) Kirkland, Hartsville; daughter, Daniele (David) Owens and Glenda Dixon; sons, Michael Leonard, Charles Leonard, Dewey Kirkland (Stephanie Bailey), Eli Kirkland and Nick Kirkland; grandchildren, Courtney Kirkland, Rebecca Owens, Haylee Owens, Marissa Owens, Julian Kirkland, Wyatt Kirkland, Brianna Leonard, Zachary Leonard, Dana Leonard, Michael Leonard, Daniel Leonard, Walter Leonard and Carrigan Leonard; three great grandchildren.
