Born on April 20, 1940, in Morrow, Louisiana, Janie was the beloved daughter of the late Lenora Wiley Comeaux and Walter Comeaux, Sr. From her earliest days, she carried within her a quiet strength, a kind spirit, and a deep devotion to family that would define her life.

Janie dedicated many years of faithful service to the Rapides Parish School Board, where she worked as a secretary. In her role, she was known for her reliability, warmth, and steady presence. She took pride in her work and found fulfillment in supporting the educational community, forming lasting friendships and touching many lives along the way.

Above all, Janie's greatest joy was her family. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love in her daughter, her cherished grandchildren, her siblings, and a host of other relatives who will continue to carry her memory in their hearts. Her love was constant and unwavering - a guiding light that will endure through generations.
