Janusz Marcinowski Obituary
He leaves his son Bartlomiej Marcinowski of Worcester, as well as a brother, Leszek Marcinowski of Poland, two sisters, Zosia Lewandowska of Poland and Jagoda Rumak of Poland, and a grandson, Adrian Marcinowski of Worcester. Janusz was predeceased by his wife of forty-five years, Stefania (Burys) Marcinowska, who passed away in 2016. He was born in Poland to the late Kazimierz and Stanislawa (Sokolowska) Marcinowski.
Janusz was an avid sports fan, particularly when it came to soccer. Many Saturdays were spent at the field, cheering on the home team with his son Bartek and brother Leszek. When not at the field, he could often times be found reading a good book. Janusz was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, April 27th, 2024 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Inurnment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Friday, April 26th, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
