WORCESTER: Joseph "Joe Pro" Echevarria Ortega, Jr., 40, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026.
He is survived by his mother, Nimsi Ortega, and his father Reymundo Echevarria; his siblings: Reymundo Echevarria Jr., Maritza Echevarria, Katherine Echevarria, Juliany Echevarria, Jonathan Echevarria, and Chabeli Echevarria; and his Grandparent, his Abuela, Bonifacia Tirado.
Joseph worked as a chef, most recently at AdCare Hospital. He also worked as a personal care assistant.
Calling hours will be held from 10 until 11:30AM, with a Funeral Service at 11:30AM, on Thursday, March 5, in the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.
