It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, Joan Elizabeth (Tomson) Jobe, 77, of Worcester, Massachusetts. Joan peacefully passed away in her home and with family on Monday, March 23, 2026.

Since early in life Joan had a love of the arts. Throughout her adult life she was active as an artist, educator, collector, and admirer of various artwork.

Joan was the beloved wife of William M. Jobe (predeceased) with whom she shared 58 years of marriage. They were married on September 2, 1972 in Beverly Hills, CA. After which they relocated to New York and then finding final residence in Worcester, Massachusetts.

She is survived by her children, Shawn Jobe and his wife Erica, Robert Jobe, and Brian Jobe, all of Worcester; Sura Meinket of Florida; grandchildren, Ryan, Christopher, Richard, Nancy, Ian, Ross, and Trevor; two great grandchildren, Jackson and Madison; a sister Eileen of Nashville, TN and nieces and nephews.
