WAREHAM – Jared M. Cardoza, 32, of Wareham, died Thursday, May 1, 2025 unexpectedly.
Born in Wareham, he was the son of Amanda M. Foggie of Wareham, and Randy M. Cardoza of New Bedford. Jared graduated from Brockton High School and worked as a construction laborer.
Jared was a kind-hearted soul whose warmth, laughter, and light earned him the nickname "Our Sunshine." His presence brought joy to those around him, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Jared loved his family and friends fiercely. He had a passion for cooking, dancing, and making people laugh-his sense of humor and generous spirit were central to who he was. An adventurous soul, he found freedom and joy riding his dirt bike, embracing life with energy and heart.
Always ready to lend a helping hand, Jared touched many lives through simple acts of kindness and genuine care. His legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering support.
He is survived by his children, Xavier Foggie of Plymouth, and Ariya Cardoza and Jaryd Cardoza both of Bourne; his sister, Sanáa Barber of Lakeville; his half-brother, Jake Cardoza of New Bedford; his grandparents, Dona Alexander of Houston, TX, Ronald Foggie, Sr. of Onset and Gloria Filkins of VT.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Sat., May 17, 2025 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 2 to 5 PM. A prayer service will follow at 5 PM.
