Jared Craig Eborn passed away May 28 2023. He was born June 14th 1985 to Becky Mead & Craig Eborn. He grew up in Shelley and spent most of his afternoons at the high school with Grandpa Eborn. His nights were spent watching wrestling and reading books with Grandma Karon Eborn. He graduated in 2003 from Shelley High School, which he would tell you was the time of his life, with friends Fernando Cervantes & Coleman Harder. Some of his favorite memories were summers spent on the Harder Farm and camping in Bear Lake at the ranch.
In 2008 he married Angie Leonard. Together they raised four beautiful children. They were later divorced, but remained friends and were very good at coparenting. In 2019 he married Amanda Pannell and gained 2 beautiful kids. Together they formed such a beautiful love for each other and built a life together as one, raising six amazing kids: Tori, Tegan, Jaden, Carson, Harper and Jossi. The kids were the light in Jared’s life. They meant everything and more to him. First and foremost, he was a dad. When he was not chasing kids around, his love for music shined through. His songs are a meaningful outlet that touched so many people and his passion for life and the people he loved was undeniable.
Jared loved to ride motorcycles with his dad, snowboard with his friends, take long drives and spend hours in the mountains. They were his sanctuary and when they called, he went. He never missed a good sunset, no matter where he was or what he was doing.
His passion for sports was undeniable, coaching all his children and so many in the community. He was always the loudest and proudest on the sidelines, even in the living room watching his Cincinnati Bengals.
He was employed at American Fabrication in Idaho Falls for many years. He was a top-notch X-ray welder and was recently promoted to lead man. Jared took pride in every job he did. No project was too big. He made lifelong friends at Am. Fab. that became family.
Family was always number one to Jared. He is survived by his wife Amanda, children Tori, Jaden, Tegan, Carson, Harper & Jossi, his parents Craig Eborn, Teresa Eborn, Becky & Joe Mead, his brothers and sisters; Tanner Longhurst, Bayden Fullmer, Mckenzie Fullmer, Mandy (Courtney) Cook, his grandmas, Karon Payne & Kathryn Landon and many aunts, uncles & cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandpas, Merlin Eborn, Tim Kennedy, Max Landon, Roger Payne, and his Aunt, Dawn Arb.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 2, 2023 at the Watersprings Church, 4250 S 25th E, in Idaho Falls. The family will meet with friends Thursday evening from 6:00 till 7:30 P.M. at Nalder Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
