Jared A. Scheck, 30, of Marion, beloved father, son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend, passed away peacefully at his residence on October 20, 2025. Born on February 17, 1995, in Rockford, IL, Jared touched the lives of many with his warm spirit and joyful heart.
A proud graduate of Pleasant High School in 2013, Jared embodied the values of hard work and dedication. He cherished time spent with his family, particularly his children, Zander, Korbyn, Kenzley, Aurora, and Kashis, who were his pride and joy.
Jared had a profound love for creativity, often expressing himself through drawing and 3D printing, hobbies that brought him immense satisfaction and an avenue for his artistic talents. He nurtured a strong connection with his family and friends, whose lives are forever enriched by his presence.
He is survived by his parents, Rick (Jamie Kendle) Scheck of Marion; his mother, Sara Hillock of Arizona; sisters, Marissa Scheck of Arizona and Sarah Lehman of Prospect; brothers, Jason Smith of Marion and Bernie Lehman of Prospect; grandmothers, Nancy Scheck of Ohio and Debbie Moore of Maryland; his grandfather, Larry Fitzwater of Maryland; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
No calling hours or services will be held at this time. A celebration of Jared's life is being planned and will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are in care of the Wilson Funeral Home 621 W. 5th St. Marysville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family, in care of the funeral home.
