Jared Lee Templeton, born on November 18, 1975, in San Antonio, Texas, passed away on December 29, 2025, in the same city where he spent his life. He is remembered as a quiet helper, a selfless individual whose character shone bright through his thoughtful actions and gentle nature.
Jared dedicated his career to repairing and restoring various items, embodying the belief that few things were truly beyond saving. His passion for restoration reflected his personality; he was a finder and giver of trinkets, always present and considerate with those around him. He brought joy to many with his dry humor, which revealed itself slowly but rarely missed its mark.
He had a deep love for his loving parents, Rebecca and Roy Morton. Jared's pride and joy were his three daughters, Samantha, Heather (Tómas), and Desiree (Samuel), his stepsisters, Jodi and Sara (Phillips) who he cherished deeply. He adored his grandbabies—Lorenzo, Luke, Mia, Nyla, and Liam—showering them with love and affection, and was looking forward to the memories he would create with Arya, his inbound granddaughter. Jared's legacy is one of unwavering love and dedication to his family. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Friends and family will remember Jared for his unique love for life, manifesting through his passion for looking sharp. He absolutely loved his bling, embracing every opportunity to shine and polish his impressive collection of shoes, always looking top-notch.
Jared is met on the other side by his Grandma Gertrude, his Uncle Jerry, and "Grandma" Lupie.
