Jared J. Trippel, 46, of Stamford, CT passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025 at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Danbury, CT, son of Rosemarie (Baialardo) Capuano and Alan Trippel.
Jared grew up in Redding, CT and upon joining the U8 Redding Falcons soccer team, found a group of friends that would become family for life. Bonds formed through tough practices, travel tournaments, and victory celebrations were stronger than any win/ loss record could ever commemorate (though there were more wins than losses, he'd be quick to tell you). While members of the team might come and go between elementary school and their high school years, their place in Jared's heart would remain constant.
The impact that this team made on Jared was so deep that after high school, he attended Springfield College and pursued a degree in Physical Education. This enabled him to bring the joy of sports to each and every day of his life, and share that joy as a teacher and coach. Jared's zest for life connected him to another strong group of friends and classmates, who shared his goals and outlook on life and enthusiasm for living it to the greatest.
Jared found his first true place on a teaching team at Whitby School in in Greenwich, CT. He found both mentors and colleagues there who helped him grow into an effective and beloved part of the school community. Again, he forged deep connections to those around him and his circle of friends grew broader, including the families of students who he taught over the course of his many years of tenure there.
After some heath issues, Jared decided there was no time like the present to pursue new adventures and challenges in a fresh part of the country. He found a new home in Boulder, CO and friends at Boulder Country Day. With these friends and his trusty sidekick, Petey, Jared explored the beauty of America's West and visited many state and National parks there, hiking and camping.
While he loved the family of friends he built in Boulder, after a few years he felt the pull of his family and friends back in Connecticut and returned home. His time in Connecticut was spent in reunions with old friends and colleagues while he searched for a new school to call home. Persistent physical issues kept him from fully being able to put down new roots, so he focused on the relationships that remained strong through the years. He maintained steady contact with so many friends he considered family, as well as participating in the lives of his mom, sister, and nieces.
Unfortunately, Jared's physical health was not as strong as his emotional connections and he left us at too early an age. We are left with memories of his love for sports, live music, a great craft beer, and the outdoors. His ability to forge connections with others, consistently speak no ill of anyone, and find the joy and humor in almost any situation were unparalleled and will surely leave a gap in all of our hearts.
Jared is survived by his mother, Rosemarie Capuano; father, Alan Trippel and his wife Pati; sister, Stacey Navratil and her husband Paul; stepbrothers, Robert Brown and his wife Melissa, Daniel Brown and his wife Mili, and Thomas Brown and his wife Katie; nieces, Brooke and Zoe Navratil; uncle and aunt, Roy and Ann Draper; and cousins, Mauro and Dan DeLorenzo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025 at 12:00 PM at St. Matthew Church, 111 Tolland Green, Tolland, CT, followed by a Celebration of Life in the parish hall. Burial in St. Bernard Cemetery, Rockville, CT, will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Park Foundation, Attn: Gift Processing, P.O. Box 17394, Baltimore, MD 21298-9450 or at https://give.nationalparks.org/. To leave a message of sympathy for his family, or for directions, please visit: www.introvignefuneralhome.com

So sorry about Jared, he was always so sweet. I know my brother, Danny Frazier & all the guys will miss him. Loved the soccer shirts they all wore with his #11! I went to Springfield College also & am a teacher. What an inspiration he was. Thinking of his mom & sister...
