Jaryd Lyon Obituary
Jaryd was born March 21, 1993, in Santa Clara, California to Scott Lyon and Terri Van Horn, Later that year the family moved back to the Wenatchee, where he grew up. Jaryd was their first child who kept his family on their toes with his humor, infectious smile and a hint of playful mischief.
Jaryd was born with an adventurous soul. He had a passion for the outdoors and sports. This included baseball, dirt biking, snowboarding, hunting, hiking, and off-roading. He also enjoyed his truck and making any modifications for future outdoor adventures.
The highlight of his life was when he welcomed his daughter Kaycee Wayne, on July 11, 2022. She was born with her father's spirit for adventure and his bright blue eyes. They loved each other dearly. They spent a lot of time hiking on the mountain trails, playing whatever fun activity Kaycee had planned, as well as their special weekend morning donut treats.
Jaryd loved deeply and was fiercely loyal to his family and friends. He will be remembered for his hard work, loyalty, deep love, and kindness. Also for his love of music, silly socks and his love of Sasquatch. He will be greatly missed by many but most especially by his mom, Terri (Evan) Van Horn, dad, Scott (Darlene) Lyon, brother, Tyler (Kielee, niece, Lainey) Lyon, daughter, Kaycee Lyon,(Jaycee) step-sister, Brianne (Justin) Wiggs, step brother, Colby (Elisabeth) Thorpe, and step sister, Shaylynn Thorpe, Mema, Diane Rimbach, along with many uncles and aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Jaryd is preceded in death by his maternal grandpa, Dave Jones; maternal step grandpa, Rich Rimbach; paternal grandparents, Jim and Candy Lyon.
Please join us for a Celebration of Life on November the 10th at 11:00 a.m. at Pybus, in the Events Room. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to: Early Discoveries Early Education Center, 406 N. Emerson Ave. Wenatchee, Wa 98801 for his daughter Kaycee, so that she may continue her schooling for the next few years.
The hardest goodbyes are the ones you don't get to say. We Love you Jaryd, you will forever live in our hearts.

He was a sweet, such a gentleman and fun guy, I worked at a gas station and had the honor to get to know and cash him out when getting his drinks after work. One time he stood up for me when he saw another costumer was giving me a hard time, Jaryd was pulling out of the parking lot and he saw the trouble costumer coming back to the store and he didn´t hesitate to park again and told the costumer to leave. I truly appreciate him for that.

This is the last photo I took of you, right after you stepped on the toe of my brand new cowboy boots telling me that my threads were too white!
I will miss the hugs that lifted me off of my feet every time I saw you!
