Jas Chopra Obituary
Jas Paul was born in Jalandhar, India and was one of five siblings.
He spent his youth training for the Indian Army in National Defence Academy and retired as Lieutenant Colonel after serving in the Armed Forces for 30 years.
He is predeceased by his wife, 3 children and 7 grandchildren whom he fondly called "my oxygen" in his last days at the hospital.
His embodied a strong sense of integrity, honor for military values, and reverence for life.
An avid spiritual seeker, he spent much of his retired years in the living Grace of his Guru, whom he remembered in every breath, and helped positively shape the lives of many in the sangat.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 from 10am to 12pm at CHUBENKO FUNERAL HOME, 625 Port Reading Avenue, Port Reading followed by Cremation at the Chapel at Rosehill Crematory, 792 East Edgar Road, Linden, NJ.
