Jason Bernard Bauserman 78 of Bartow passed away Monday, May 13, 2024
Jason was born September 11, 1945, in Washington DC to the late Bernard L. "Leo" and Ethel Diehl Bauserman.
Jason was a self-employed contractor; he was Chairman of the Pocahontas County Historical Landmark Society, supported and was President of UPCC, Vice President of Pocahontas County Pro Life, he was Bartow Weatherman since 1991, Wrote weather recaps for the Pocahontas Times, was a member of Habitat for Humanity and was a devout Christian and a member of the Church in The Meadow at Monterey, VA.
Other than his parents, Jason was preceded in death by brother, John Lynn Bauserman
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Julia Snider Bauserman; sons, Jeremy Donald Bauserman of Bartow, Jonah Lee Bauserman and wife Tara of Bartow and Jeffrey Alan Bauserman and wife Kayla of Peterstown; grandchildren, Isabella, Ellena, Abby, A.J., Garrett, Marcus, Rileigh, Joshua, Kinnslee, Josiah, Maleigha and Elijah Bauserman; sister, Carolyn Kneisly and husband John of Delaware, OH; nephews, John Lynn Bauserman, Jr and wife Debra of Silver Springs, MD and Robert Lionel Bauserman and wife Kim of Owings Mills Md..
A memorial service will be 11:00 am on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Church in The Meadow at Monterey, VA.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
