Jason Sterling Becker died in his sleep on March 27th at his group home. Jason was born on February 20, 1980, to Jay and Carolyn (Sharp) Becker in Mankato.
Jason attended Maple River Schools Special Ed and graduated from Windom High School. In 2001, he moved to Teresa K. Sexton Homes in North Mankato. Until the pandemic, he spent his days at MRCI.
Jason enjoyed listening to music and playing his maracas. Jason was an undemanding person who gave nondenominational hugs and kisses.
Jason is survived by his parents; sister, Gretchen (Justin Hillesheim), their children, Layne and Everett; brother, Aaron (Molly), their children, Eian and Audrey.
Jason’s family would like to thank Stephanie Staloch and all the staff for their excellent care.
A private family service was held with interment in the Belle of Sterling Cemetery, rural Mapleton. Olson Tichenor Funeral Home is handling arrangements. www.mankatomortuary.com
