Mr. Jason Bisson

WATERBURY – Jason Bisson, age 37, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 4th, 2023. He was the beloved fiancé of Janine Velez and the father of Kayla Bisson.
Jason was born October 31st, 1985, in Waterbury, CT, the son of the late Donna Bisson. Jason was a beloved son, father, brother, friend, and fiancé. He was the owner and a tattoo artist at Saints and Sinners Tattoo Supply in Waterbury, CT. Jason lived life to the fullest, embracing every moment with enthusiasm and zest, reminding us to savor every moment in life. He impacted so many lives around him and was a shining light in the lives of those around him. He radiated energy and positivity, always wearing a contagious smile that could brighten even the darkest days. Yet, his most cherished role was that of a father. His daughter was his world, his pride and joy, and the center of his universe. This unexpected and devasting event has left us, his fiancé, family, friends, and community in a state of absolute shock and profound grief.
Jason was excited to be getting married in June 2024, and spending the rest of his life with Janine Velez.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory, besides his fiancé, Janine Velez and his daughter, Kayla Bisson are his brother, Lawrence Reynolds and his wife, Maria of Waterbury, and his sisters, Tara Acevedo of Waterbury and Tami Stewart of North Branford. In addition, he also leaves his mother-in-law, Maria Velez, brother-in-law, Ricardo Velez, his nephews; Donovan, Eusebio, Anthony, Eddie, Victor and William, and his nieces; Larrisa, Selena, Savanah, and Chalimar as well as other extended family members and many friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Bisson will be held Saturday, September 9th 2023, at 11:30 a.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care 1987 East Main St Waterbury, CT 06705. Relatives and friends may visit Jason's family on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m until the service commences at 11:30 am. Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of his family.
