Jason Donald Black, age 40, passed from this life to his reward in Heaven on September 30, 2025, in Hopkins, Minnesota. Jason was born in Midwest City, Oklahoma on November 13, 1984, to Donald and Linda Wallis Black.
He graduated from McLoud High School in 2003. Jason became a Christian on January 3, 1993, and was baptized at First Baptist Church in McLoud Oklahoma. He worked in Lawn Care and Maintenance, but his passion was cooking, and he was very good at it. He also enjoyed playing video games in his spare time. Jason deeply loved his family and kept in close contact with his mother and was known for his compassionate heart toward people and animals.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Wallis Jr, brother Justin David Black, his aunt, Judy Wallis Hubbs, and his cousin, Amber Lynn Hubbs.
He is survived by his father, Donald Black of Minnesota; mother, Linda Wallis Wilkins and sister, Taresa Black of McLoud, Oklahoma; son Theodore Davidson Black and daughter Harley Rose of Minnesota; grandmother Evalena Wallis, aunt Sandra and husband Harvey Rooks, nephews Aeden and Connor McLaughlin, all of McLoud, Oklahoma; cousins Micheal and wife MarJane Hannifan of Midwest City, Oklahoma; Timothy Hannifan and wife Kelley of Washington State, and many more family and friends.
Celebration of Life will be Saturday, October 18th, 2pm at McLoud First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Dale Cemetery.
