Jason Chamblee

Jason Chamblee was born May 3, 1980 and passed February 18, 2022. The second of four children, Jason was the caretaker. From a small child he needed to know where his siblings and cousins were at all times. When he lost sight of someone he would search until he knew they were okay. His early childhood was spent in Melrose, FL, until the family moved to Saint Augustine through his teen years. In his late teens the family moved to Citra, FL. This sweet boy grew into a sensitive man and a bit of a wanderer himself. Jason was straightforward and lived his life on his own terms, popping in from time to time to check on loved ones. He inherited his Grandma's green thumb and could cultivate nearly anything. He had a deep sincere laugh and gave wonderful hugs. True to his Florida roots, Jason was a successful fisherman with the simplest of tools. He was once observed catching minnows from a mud puddle.
Jason was preceded in death by paternal grand-parents, Thomas and Wanda Chamblee, maternal grand-parents Stephen and Pam Maisano, and paternal uncles Melvin and Jack Chamblee, all of whom, without a doubt, were there to welcome him with open arms.
He is survived by his parents, David and Lesa Chamblee, siblings Amaris Chamblee (Erik Allison), Christopher Chamblee, Nathan (Christie) Chamblee, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces. We love you, Jason. Until we meet again
