Services for Mrs. Juanita Goldman Chamblee will be held Monday, December 22, 2025 at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Philip Roland, Rev. Greg Lathem, and Rev. Kevin Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in New Harmony Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, December 22, 2025 at 12 noon until service time at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.
Mrs. Chamblee, 96 of Philadelphia, died Friday, December 19, 2025 at the Neshoba County Nursing Home. Juanita was a lifelong resident of the Waldo Community of Neshoba County. She retired from Wells Lamont after 30 plus years. Mrs. Chamblee was a devoted lifelong member of New Harmony Baptist Church, where she faithfully served in many leadership roles including; Sunday school teacher and WMU director. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother and will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.
Survivors include two sons, Gary (Charlotte) Chamblee and Randy (Missy) Chamblee, all of Philadelphia; daughter, Deborah Myers of Brandon; nine grandchildren; seven grandchildren in-laws; 15 great-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren in-laws; five great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Creasy Richardson of Philadelphia; and a host of nieces, nephews, and their families.
Mrs. Chamblee was preceded in death by her husband of 77 years, Eirtis S. Chamblee; son, Aaron Kent Chamblee; granddaughter, Amanda “Mandy” Chamblee; parents, Thomas and Addie Lee Goldman; six brothers, and five sisters.
Pallbearers are: Kevin Chamblee, Joel Chamblee, Kent Chamblee, Joshua Chamblee, Wyatt McCann, Brady Pope, Cayden Tucker, Langston Tucker, Mason Pope, Colton Chamblee, Aaron Chamblee, John Mark Kilpatrick, and Brent Kilpatrick.
