Funeral Services for Dorothy F. Pierce will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. from Bethsaida Baptist Church with Dr. Billy James and Bro. Brad Winstead officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on December 11, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
Dorothy Faye Hillman Pierce passed away on December 8, 2025, at the Neshoba County Nursing Home. She was 84 years old.
Dot as she was known to most everyone was born in Philadelphia, MS on June 25,1941. As a child she lived in San Francisco, CA and Peoria, IL as her father served in the US Army. She worked for many years at Garan Inc. in Philadelphia, then at Peavey Electronics in Decatur. After retirement she worked as a substitute teacher at Neshoba Central High School. She was an active member of Bethsaida Baptist church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. Dot loved gardening and anything outdoors.
She is survived by her sons, Glen (Sue) Pierce and Kenny (Lisa) Pierce; grandchildren, Wade (Amanda) Pierce, Tyler (Chelsea) Pierce, Brandon (Hayley) Pierce, Haley (Brandon) McFarland, Reagan (Andrew) Presson, and Corey Pierce; 11 great-grandchildren.
Dot was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Christine Hillman; husband, Eric Pierce; great-grandchild, Colton Wade Pierce.
Pallbearers will be: Wade Pierce, Tyler Pierce, Brandon Pierce, Brandon McFarland, Andrew Presson, Corey Pierce, Adam Gilliand, Derek Shannon, and Will James.
