Pearl Elizabeth Pierce, 97, of Abilene, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025, Born on July 13, 1928, in Anson, Texas, Pearl was a beloved figure in her community, known for her warmth, kindness, and deep love for her family.
Pearl dedicated much of her life to nurturing not only her family but also the children of Abilene as the School Cafeteria Manager for the Abilene Independent School District. With her caring hands, she prepared countless meals that brought comfort and joy to many, always ensuring that everyone felt included at the table. Pearl was particularly fond of gardening, and her garden blossomed with fresh flowers that reflected her vibrant spirit. She loved to share the fruits of her labor, often bringing beautiful bouquets to loved ones and filling their homes with beauty and warmth.
She is survived by her devoted son, John Pierce, his brother, Jeffery Pierce,. She also leaves behind her beloved daughter-in-law, Paulette Pierce, and son-in-law, David Deaton. 6 grand children and 7 great- grandchildren
Pearl was preceded in death by : George Pierce, Douglas Davis, Winnie Renfro,infant daughter, Genicec Pierce, and her daughter, Kathryn Deaton, and her brother, Gerald Davis who remains in the hearts of her family.
Pearl's funeral service will be held at Elmwood Funeral Home on December 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM, where friends and family will gather to celebrate her remarkable life and the loving legacy she leaves behind. A visitation will take place on December 11, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, providing an opportunity for those who cherished Pearl to come together, share memories, and support one another during this time of loss.
Following the service, The Family will Gather at Abilene Primitive Baptist Church 3565 Hickory St. Abilene TX 79601.
Pearl Elizabeth Pierce will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her. May she rest in peace.
