Jason Fox Obituary

On August 4th, 2025, the world lost a true legend. Jason Matthew Fox, age 50, of Ludington, MI, passed away doing what he loved-ripping through the wind on his Harley Electra Glide Ultra Classic and visiting the friends he held so dear.

Born and raised in Ludington, Jason was the kind of man who made an impression everywhere he went. A people person through and through, Jason had a smile that could light up a room and a heart that reached out to everyone-whether you were family, a friend, or a total stranger. If someone needed help, he was there. No questions asked. He didn't do it for recognition or praise; he did it because it was right. That's just who Jason was-loyal, fierce, and generous beyond measure.

To know him was to laugh with him, to be inspired by him, and to witness what it means to live fully. He loved deeply, played hard, and worked harder than anyone. He never took a day off-not even after breaking bones. He believed in showing up, giving big, and being the best version of yourself, always. As his family says, "Just be you-but whatever that is, be totally badass."

Jason found his calling in his work. He didn't just love his job-he lived it. He treated the roofing and gutter company like his own, leading with integrity, grit, and pride. Every decision he made was for the betterment of the company and the people it served. His boss Colin became one of his many best friends, and together they lived out the motto: "Win Bigly. Give Bigly." Jason did both, every single day.

Even more than his work, Jason was proudest of the life he built with his wife, Stephanie Fox. The two began their journey together in 2015, and though their start was far from perfect, their love grew into something truly beautiful. They were married on October 22, 2022, and in the years that followed, they created a life full of laughter, adventure, and unshakable partnership. Whether they were riding together on his bike or hers, heading to music bingo on Thursday nights, or just soaking up everyday moments they made memories like every day was their last. Jason made sure of that.

One of Jason's greatest joys was the unbreakable bond he built with his daughter Brooke. Tuesday night rides with "the boys" and Wednesday bike nights at Doc's became their sacred traditions. Brooke wasn't just along for the ride-she was right there with him, forming memories that will last forever. Those rides were filled with freedom, laughter, and the kind of love that only a dad and daughter on the open road can share.

Jason was a devoted husband, a father and stepfather who led by example, and a protector of his family's dreams. He pushed his kids to be great- reminding them to be "fing legends" and crush their goals without fear. He was strict when he had to be, soft when they needed it, and full of love always. He adored his wife Stephanie and made it his mission to keep a smile on her face-even on the hardest days.

Jason is survived by his wife Stephanie Fox (34); his children: Steven Brigham (18), Michael Fox (17), Matthew Fox (16), Bently Brigham (15), and Brooke Shaffer (13); his sister Tracy Beck; brothers Clay Fox and Bryan Adkins; and his beloved mother Dawn Stewart. He also leaves behind countless friends he called family-too many to list, but none forgotten.

He was the fun uncle, the fearless leader, the one who showed up, and the one who lived exactly how he wanted-fast, loud, loyal, and full of love. He never wanted to grow old, never wanted to be taken care of-and he got his wish. He went out as he lived: free, unstoppable, and unforgettable.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Grace Funeral Home from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM, with a time of sharing starting at 12:30 PM. All are welcome to come, celebrate his life, and share stories of the good times and wild memories with the man who made every day count.

Jason Fox will never be replaced-his legacy lives on in all of us. Ride in peace, legend.
