Jason Lee Gage, born on May 25, 1983, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, passed away on October 8, 2025, at Guadalupe County Hospital. He was 42 years old and leaves behind a legacy of service, dedication, and love for his family and community.
Raised in Coweta, Oklahoma, Jason graduated from Coweta High School and embarked on a noble career in public service. He courageously served as an Officer with the Las Vegas Police Department for ten years and later held positions as an Officer with the Santa Rosa Police Department, a Dispatcher for the City of Santa Rosa, and a Correctional Officer. His commitment to protecting and serving others was evident through his work and his membership in the Fraternal Order of Police (F.O.P.) and the Region IV Drug Task Force.
A devoted family man, Jason is survived by his beloved parents, Ronald and Gloria Gage, his children, Jaylee and Bodi Gage, and their mother; Debra Gage, and Zayne Gage, his fiancée Andria Chavez and their beloved son Eli Gage, along with step-children, Kasydi, Kaidyn, and Kynadii Chavez, his brothers, Ronald Gage, II, and Yvonne, and Phillip Gage. Jason's family also includes numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, all of whom he cared for deeply.
A parishioner at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Jason was known not only for his professional achievements but also for his warm-hearted personality. He enjoyed spending time with family, engaging in hobbies such as motorcycling, shed hunting, shooting, and helping his parents.
Jason's legacy will continue to resonate through the lives he touched with his kindness and unwavering spirit. He is preceded in death by his Maternal grandparents, Juan and Mela Perea; Paternal grandparents; Brooks Gage and Lorene Gage, his uncle, Melvin Gage; and a host of beloved aunts and uncles, including Lina Perea, Rose Perea, Ida Perea, Betty Jo Perea, Dilia Ulibarri, and Gilbert Perea.
Recitation of The Most Holy Rosary will be Monday, October 13, 2025 at 7PM at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, with viewing beginning at 6PM.
The funeral Mass will take place Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 10AM at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, with Reverend Jacob Romero celebrating the service.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, with Jesse Chavez, Robert Chavez, Adam Chavez, Ronald Gage, III, Jody Lovell, Juan Perea, Jykub Gage and Ricardo Sena serving as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers are; Kasydi Chavez, Kaidyn Chavez, Kynadii Chavez, Bodi Gage, Eli Gage and Jaylee Gage.

As family and friends mourn his loss, they will forever remember Jason Lee Gage as a dedicated officer, a loving family man, and a compassionate friend whose presence filled the lives of many.
