Jason Gatliff Obituary


Jason Clay Gatliff, 59, of Strasburg, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, at his home. A Private Graveside is planned for family and the local #26 IBEW members.

Jason was born on December 9, 1965, in Fairfax, Virginia, and was the son of the late David and Dorothy Donovan Gatliff. He graduated from Triplett Tech in 1985 with a certification in electricity, eventually becoming a Virginia Licensed Master Electrician. He retired after 39 years with IBEW Local # 26. He was preceded in death by 6 brothers, Ben, Gary, Bruce, Josh, Malcolm and Eric.

He is survived by a son, Jay Gatliff; a daughter, Lucinda (Lucy) Gatliff; 3 granddaughters, Haylee, Savannah, and Lilly; 1 great-granddaughter, Zarra; his partner of 41 years, Brenda Himelright Gatliff; and Nate and Heather Conners.

Arrangements are in the care of Dellinger Funeral Homes, Woodstock.
