Jason S. Grigsby, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025.
Born on October 19, 1971, in Chicago, Jason's life was defined by his generous spirit, boundless love, and passionate dedication to all he pursued.
Professionally, Jason served as a respected Lead Man at Xylem, where he was admired for his dedication, integrity, and strong work ethic. Outside of work, he was a passionate baseball coach who invested countless hours mentoring young athletes-especially his sons, Lewis, Taylor and Brandon-instilling in them not only the fundamentals of the game but also the values of teamwork, perseverance, and respect.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Jason's love for baseball was rivaled only by his admiration for martial arts icon Bruce Lee. He embraced Lee's philosophy of self-mastery and discipline, striving to live each day with purpose and encouraging those around him to do the same.
Jason's generosity knew no bounds. He gave selflessly of his time and resources, never seeking recognition, always aiming to uplift and support those in need. His love was constant and unwavering, surrounding his family and friends with warmth, encouragement, and strength. Whether on the field, at work, or facing life's toughest battles, Jason met every challenge with courage and passion.
As we honor and remember Jason S. Grigsby, we celebrate a life lived with integrity, heart, and joy. His legacy is one of love, devotion, and deep personal impact-one that will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Though he is no longer with us, the light of his generous heart, loving spirit, and passionate soul will continue to guide and inspire us for generations to come.
