Graveside Services for Jason H. Hansel, age 57, of Ceylon, MN, will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Lake Belt Township Cemetery in rural Ceylon. Jason passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025, at his home in Ceylon. The Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.
Jason Howard Hansel was born on December 8, 1967, to Howard and Mary Ann (Petersen) Hansel. He attended Kindergarten in Ceylon and continued until his graduation in 1986.
Jason worked at various jobs until a leg injury forced him to quit working. He then turned his attention to caring for his mother.
Jason was well known to his family, friends, and community members for his Halloween decorations every year. The family looks forward to setting up his display this year in honor of Jason.
Left to cherish his memory include his mother, Mary Ann Hansel; sons, Tyler Jorgenson of Ceylon, and Brandon Palmer of Ceylon; one sister, Julie Hansel; and other family and friends.
Following the graveside service, family and friends will be gathering at the Lake Belt Bar and Grill for a time of food and fellowship.
