I love you so much little brother!!
I will honor you forever. Thank you for being not just a brother to me, but a really great friend!!
I will miss our long (sometimes 3 to 4 hours) conversations & how you would always listen to me. Truly listen. That is rare now days. I also want you to know how much Mike loved you & loved that you 2 were "brothers". He tries to be a tough guy, but your passing has affected him greatly.
You were the best little sidekick when we were growing up, and I had so much fun hiking above our old house & trips to Bear Lake, Bob's cabin, camping, 4-wheeling, etc..
We had so much fun with Mom & all the things she went overboard to do for us as kids! Holidays were the best, ever!! She was definitely a hands on mom. I'm so glad we leaned on each other after mom passed. I couldn't have done it without you, Jay. Now how am I going to get through losing you?!? I know how afraid you were to lose dad someday, and oddly I am comforted that you don't have to endure that. Although, dad now has to endure losing you. How strange life can be..
I can't even believe how quickly everything happened. What a blur. You fought so hard & I'm so proud to call you my brother. Thank you for making me "brave". I will cherish that memory the rest of my life.
I'm forever grateful to Scott Irvine for getting us to Michigan to be by your side for 6 days. The "3" Amigo's.
Stay near me as much as you can & take care of mom until I see you again. And I will!
Rest easy brother & my heart is full knowing that you are whole, healthy & happy.
I love you!!!
