Jason Jowers

Jason "Papa" Jowers is survived by his loving wife, Pepsi (Stone) Jowers; two daughters, Shelby Jowers (Peyton Ellis) and Jaci Jowers (Mason Bedwell); his mother, Patricia Jowers; and his two amazing grandchildren, Ryder Ellis and Emersyn Ellis. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Ronald Stone, and nephew, Rusty Stone. Jason was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Jowers, and his sister, Crystal Jowers. To know Jason was to love him. From his quick wit and sense of humor to his kind heart, he could light up any room and leave everyone laughing. If you didn't know him well, you'd never guess the many health challenges he faced - he always carried himself with strength and positivity. Jason was more than a husband and father - he was the foundation of our little family. The one we all leaned on, the one who always had an answer, a plan, or a joke to make things better. He was our advice giver (whether we wanted it or not), our personal chef (because he could truly cook), our Mr. Fix-It, and the first one to lend a helping hand. We often called him "Dr. Jowers" because 99% of the time, he was right about whatever was going on. He was loved deeply and will be missed beyond measure. A celebration of Jason's life will be held on Wednesday, November 5 at Reed's Chapel from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Please come share memories and celebrate the incredible man he was.
