Jason Kelly

1975 - 2024

Jason Michael Kelly, 48, of Vancouver, WA, passed away unexpectedly on January 7th, 2024, at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, due to complications from a stroke. His wife, Lorien, the love of his life, close family members and his mom, Mary Ann Kelly (via livestreaming) were at his side.

Jason was born on March 12, 1975, to the late William John and Mary Ann (Wieland) Kelly. He attended East Catholic High School in Manchester, CT. He went on to work in the customer service and tech support professions. He previously worked at Aetna Insurance in Hartford, CT, and Verizon Wireless in Wallingford, CT, and most recently at Charter Communications in Vancouver, WA. He gained numerous friends at each of his places of employment and kept in contact with them throughout the years.

Jason did not have pets growing up, but quickly learned to love the cats that his wife brought to their relationship. He became particularly attached to their own tabby cat "Tink" and loved to post pictures of her on his social media accounts.

Jason was preceded in death by brothers William (Bill) and Sean, his Uncle Phil Kelly, and grandparents to whom he was close growing up. He is survived by his wife, Lorien (Caldwell) Kelly, his mother, Mary Ann Kelly, his Great Aunt Fran Lupacchino of Manchester, CT, his Aunt Mary (Kelly) and Uncle Ralph Short and their sons Ryan and Derek, his cousin Peter Hindle who was like a brother, multiple generations of cousins, and caring family friends Vivian Severson of Ames IA, and Dorothy Malerba of Manchester, CT and her son Steven Dante of East Hartford, CT. He is survived on his wife's side by parents-in-law Bill and Elodie Caldwell and siblings-in-law and their spouses � Steven and Valerie Caldwell, Jon and Noelle Caldwell, and Karyn and Colby Loftesness.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. James Church, 896 Main Street in Manchester on Monday, February 12th, at 11:00 a.m.
