Jason Lloyd

Jason Harold Lloyd, age 47, passed away August 8, 2024, and returned home to his Heavenly Father and his two sisters that he loved dearly.
Jason was born on March 26, 1977, in Salt Lake City, UT. Jason had a heart of gold! He was tender and loving. His family meant the world to him, especially his two children, Trevor and Haylee. He had a special love for animals, constantly rescuing them, even as a little boy. He was an artist and could draw anything. He loved to do glass etching, leather work, and to make his own Native American artifacts. He loved to use his hands to build and create, whether it was making his own tattoo gun or working on cars and his low rider bikes. He loved muscle cars. His first car was a 1972 Chevy Nova.
Jason was a spiritual person with a deep testimony of his Savior Jesus Christ. Life wasn't always kind to Jason, and he struggled with Mental Illness daily. He was strong and courageous, fighting battles that many others do not have to. Through it all, he never lost his faith or hope for better. We know he has finally found that peace and joy that this world could not offer him.
Jason was preceded in death by his two sisters, Melinda Lloyd and Richelle Henwood, his grandfather Richard Henwood, grandmother Leone Henwood, grandfather Dick Hall, grandmother Louise Pledge, grandfather Harold Lloyd, and grandmother June Lloyd. He is survived by his parents, Rick and Cassi Henwood, and Gary and Wendy Lloyd, his two children Trevor Sacre, and Haylee Lloyd Henwood, siblings Heather Henwood Fisher (Jerel), Weston Henwood (Ashton), and Greg Lloyd, with many other people who loved him.
Services will be held on Tuesday, August 20 at Tate Mortuary in Tooele. A visitation will be held from 9:30-10:45a.m. with the funeral to follow at 11:00am. Interment will take place at the Tooele City Cemetery.
Jason, you taught us that what is on the inside matters most. We will love and miss you forever.
