Jason H. Locklear 1982-2016 Jason Heath Locklear, 33, passed away January 14, 2016 at his home in Fort Walton Beach. Jason is survived by his children Jacob Locklear and Natalie Locklear of Fort Walton Beach. By his father Kirby (Mary Ann) Locklear of Fort Walton Beach; mother, Elvira Sanchez of San Antonio, TX; brother, Montana Locklear of San Antonio, TX; Step Sisters Sarah and husband Jason Yelverton and Rachel Kuhn of Fort Walton Beach and his significant other Molly Peters of DeFuniak Springs. Jason was born on March 5, 1982 at Eglin AFB Hospital to his parents Kirby and Elvira Locklear. He graduated from Choctawhatchee High School in 2000. Jason served in the USMC for 13 years, of which he saw combat during four deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. After retirement, Jason moved from Camp LeJeune, NC back home to Fort Walton Beach. He was a dedicated father and devoted his life to his children. He rediscovered his Native American Indian Heritage and was active in the Na-Ma-Wo-Chi Drum Society. His hobbies included Native American Dance, fishing and riding his motorcycle. Visitation will be held on January 19, 2016 from 12pm-1pm at Trinity United Methodist Church, 403 Racetrack Road, Fort Walton Beach, followed by a Life Celebration Service from 1pm-2pm. A reception will follow at the church.
