Jason T. Lyon

Jason T. Lyon, 46, of Jamestown passed away unexpectedly Friday (December 26, 2025) in UPMC Hamot due to natural causes. A lifelong area resident he was born July 20, 1979 in Jamestown the son of Bradley H. Lyon and Katherine Songer Hager. Jason was a graduate of Jamestown High School and Jamestown Community College. While a student at JHS Jason was on the Red Raiders 1994-95 Championship Football Team. He had previously been employed by UPS, Kwik Fill, JC Penny, Sears, and The Bon Ton. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching NFL Football. Surviving is his father Bradley H. Lyon of Jamestown; his mother Katherine Hager and his step father C. William Hager of Ishpeming, Michigan; his fiancé Amy Ouimette from Canada; three brothers: Jeremy D. Lyon of Butler, PA, Aaron M. Willings of Orlando, FL, Matthew J. Willings of New Jersey; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents (Mr. & Mrs. Songer); his paternal grandparents Howard and Jean Lyon. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday (January 3, 2025) in the Falconer Funeral Home. Jason's uncle Robert Songer will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Falconer. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be donated to a charity of one's choice.
