In Loving Memory of Jason Paul Pelland (Jay) Passed peacefully into God's hands on May 28, 2025 at the age of 45. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jason Pelland- born on December 7,1979 in Dearborn, Michigan, a loving husband to Heidi Pelland, devoted son to John and Dianna Pelland, cherished brother to Brett Pelland, Barbra Wood, John Pelland, Jimmy Pelland, Beth Pelland, and proud bonus dad to Cierrah Rose, and beloved doggy dad to Buddy. Jason was a kind, loving, and strong soul-a bright light in every life he touched. Known for his infectious smile, warm heart, and clever sense of humor, Jason had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and loved. His love for his family was bold, joyful, and unshakable, and he never hesitated to show it. He had a special passion for flying that he shared with his father, John for over 10 years, this passion led him to pursue his private pilots license, and more recently pursued his love of the water as the boat captain of Smooth Operator. Whether exploring the Florida Keys, enjoying nights at the Hard Rock Casino, or simply spending time with loved ones, Jason embraced life with an adventurous spirit and an open heart. On October 2, 2021, Jason married the love of his life, Heidi, at The STRAT in Las Vegas-a city close to his heart and filled with cherished memories, especially those shared with his family. For the past three years, Jason faced a long and courageous battle with cancer. Through every challenge, he carried himself with grace, resilience, and that unmistakable smile. He was determined to make every moment count, creating unforgettable memories with those he loved most. Jason's strength, joy, and boundless love will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
