Janemarie Pelland, was born on March 23, 1953, in Providence, RI, and was called home on December 22, 2025. A beacon of compassion and love, Janemarie was the embodiment of reliability and thoughtfulness. She resided in Attleboro, Massachusetts, for the last 10 years of her vibrant life, having previously lived in Foster, R.I.

With a heart full of love, Janemarie dedicated her life to her family, who were her greatest treasures. She is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, Roland Pelland, their loving son, Jeffrey Pelland, and her dear sisters, Violet, Shirley and brother James. Janemarie was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lucy Belisle. Her family will forever remember her as a nurturing soul who brought warmth and joy into their lives. As the poet Maya Angelou once said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel", and Janemarie's loved ones can attest to the truth of this statement.

Janemarie worked in the clerical department at Ebelings Auto dealerships before her well-deserved retirement in 2015. Even in her professional life, Janemarie's reliability and thoughtfulness were evident. She was a proud member of the lions club, where her compassionate nature was widely appreciated. A passionate animal lover, she spent her free time training dogs, contributing to the happiness of both the animals and their owners.

A memorial visitation will be held in honor of Janemarie's remarkable life on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 11am to 1:30 with a service 1:30 at Duffy-Poule Funeral and Cremation Services, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro, MA. The services are under the care of Duffy-Poule Funeral and Cremation Services.
