Jason Pruett Obituary
Jason Earl Pruett, 42, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2025 in his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born June 15, 1983, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Velvet (Jones) Krueger.
Jason was a life-long resident of Poplar Bluff. He was an artist; he especially enjoyed drawing, woodworking, painting, doing puzzles, and playing any kind of game especially dominos. Above all else his family and friends were where he enjoyed spending most of his time. On May 18, 2025, Jason married Shon Walker.
Jason is survived by his wife Shon Pruett; his parents, Doug and Velvet Krueger; five children, Ashton, Augustus, Cyan, Johnathon, and Christopher; one brother Rondel Pruett; two sisters, Heather Jones, and Samantha (Dwaine) Wilmot; and many nieces and nephews. A host of family and friends survive.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Chapel. Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with all arrangements.
