Jason Lee "Bonehead" Rutter, 48, of Deshler, Ohio passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025.
Jason was born on October 26, 1976 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Ronald Rutter and Shirley (Wright) Jones. On December 18, 1997 he married Billie Jo Wickard and she survives in Leipsic, Ohio. Also surviving are their children, Amber Wickard of Deshler; Taylor (Curtis) Baer of North Baltimore, Ohio; Maia Rutter of Ottawa, Ohio; Leanna Rutter of Deshler; 5 grandchildren, Elizabeth; Ethan; Eliana; Penelope; Emiliano; parents, Ronald "Poo" & Janelle Rutter of Oregon, Ohio; Shirley and Bill Jones of Deshler; brother, Chad (Amanda) Rutter of Deshler and niece, Emoree Rutter.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Rutter and cousin, Roger Rutter.
Jason was known for always grilling for his family, no matter the time of the year. He enjoyed listening to music, good conversation, making jokes and laughing and sitting by the bonfire with a cold one. His family recalls summer camping trips and fall activities that included picking and carving pumpkins, trick or treat and celebrating his birthday. He was always a listening ear for his kids, giving his love, support and best advice. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 3, 2025 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler. Memorials can be directed to the family and messages or memories can be shared with them at www.feehanrodenbergerfuneralhome.com.
