Vicki L. Junge
April 11, 1953 - September 19, 2025

Vicki Lynn Junge, 72, of Deshler, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, September 19, 2025, at Promedica Toledo Hospital. She was born on April 11, 1953, in Bowling Green, Ohio, to the late William and Gladys (Watson) Aldrich.

On April 11, 1993, Vicki married Harold Junge, her husband with whom she shared a fulfilling life together. Vicki retired from the Bud Company after 20 years of dedicated service, and after retirement, she found great joy in sharing her love of food with others. Alongside Harold, she opened the H&V Burger food wagon, traveling the area to serve homemade meals crafted with care and love.

Known for her culinary skills, Vicki became famous in her family for making the most delicious apple pies and dumplings-treats that will forever be remembered by all who had the pleasure of enjoying them. She had a natural gift for cooking, and her meals were always made with a side of love, bringing family and friends together around the table.

Vicki's life was one filled with warmth and generosity. She cherished the simple pleasures, from fishing and spending time at her camper to crocheting and playing Bingo. Above all, her greatest joy came from being surrounded by family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life, and she took immense pride in their accomplishments and well-being.

She is survived by husband, Harold Junge; children Joanne Detillion of Waterville, Darold (Beth) Junge of Deshler, Jason Junge of Deshler, Kristal (Scott) Lockwood of Portage, and James (Samantha) Junge of Palm Bay, FL; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kay Armstrong and Teri (Larry) Willier; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Vicki was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Roberta Lou Prowant; two brothers, Scott Aldrich and Robert Aldrich; and her son, Randy Junge.

A celebration of Vicki's life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 4-8 p.m. at the Deshler American Legion Post #316. Families are encouraged to go fishing in honor of Vicki at the Deshler Reservoir, a place where Vicki often found peace and joy.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorials be made to the Village of Deshler and in memo: V. Junge Memorial for the Reservoir or Quilts of Compassion of Toledo, Ohio, organizations that were close to her heart.

Vicki will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her kindness, her love for her family, and the joy she brought to everyone she met.

Arrangements were entrusted to Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler and messages and memories can be shared with the family at www.feehanrodenbergerfuneralhome.com.
