Jason Tainter, 43, of Muscoda passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the University Hospital in Madison. He was born on June 12, 1980, the son of Dean and Sharon (Kolman) Tainter. Jason attended Riverdale High School and received his HSED, graduating with high honors. He went on to obtain two degrees in Auto Tech and Engine Machining. Jason worked various jobs and most recently was employed with Ring Brothers Auto Body in Spring Green as a CNC machinist.
Jason was a proud parent and enjoyed attending sporting events with Andre. Most of all he enjoyed watching Andre's sports and never missed a game. He was an avid Mustang enthusiast and enjoyed working on anything in the garage with his buddies. Jason could do about anything and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by many.
Jason is survived by his son Andre Tainter of Muscoda, Janette Frawley of Muscoda, brother Raymond (Nikki) Tainter of Waterloo, and many other relatives and friends.
Jason was preceded in death by two sons Devan Dean and Joseph Stephen Tainter, parents Dean and Sharon, grandparents Betty and Pete Rasmusson, Ray Kolman, and Margarat Tainter, and lifelong friends Lyle Wilkinson and Steve Morris.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the Godager Pratt Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM with a prayer service to be held at 4:00 PM. Burial will be held in the Indian Creek Cemetery at a later date. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
