Mike Ryan

Michael W. Ryan, 75, of Soldiers Grove died on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at his home. He was born on November 11, 1950, in Madison the son of Walter and Emma (Young) Ryan. Mike graduated from North Crawford High School earning all-state football honors. He went to UW-La Crosse earning his Bachelor's Degree. Mike returned to Crawford County where he farmed for 20 years. He went to work at S&S Cycle until he retired. Mike enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his family. He was an avid fan of Wisconsin sports.

Mike is survived by five children: Jessica Gander (Jeff Murphy) of Blue River,

Kelly Ryan (Jerry Wilder) of Viola,

Darcy (Zach) Ewing of Richland Center,

Sam Ryan (Ashley Buelt) of Scottsdale, AZ,

Aubrey Ryan (Chad Kippley) of Avoca;

Four grandchildren: Ashlee, Morgan, and Owen Gander, Eleanor Kippley;

Sister: Sara (Richard) Kinney of Blue River;

Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Patrick Ryan and Dennis Ryan.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Philip's Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at St. Philip's Catholic Church on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 9:30 AM until the time of the mass at 11:00 AM. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
