Jason Lynn Turner

Jason "JT" Turner age 53 of Texico, NM passed away Friday March 27, 2026, at his home in Texico. Memorial service will be held Monday April 6, 2026, at 2:00PM at The Chapel, 1500 N Thornton Street, Clovis with Pastor Herb Gage officiating. Denny Turner, John Turner, Jeff Turner, Shawn Denny, Logan Potts, Keith Cunningham, Donald Martinez and Jasper McClendon will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Jason was born to Jim Turner and Sharon Blackford on November 1, 1972, in Pryor, OK. He married Mindy Denny, December 31, 2005, in Carlsbad, NM. Jason loved spending time with family. He was an Extension Horse Specialist and teaching people about horses was his passion.

Survivors include his wife Mindy Turner of the home; two sons, Denny Turner, and John Turner all of Texico, NM; father, Jim Turner and his wife Sandy of Chouteau, OK; mother, Sharon Blackford of Locust Grover, OK; brother, Jeff Turner and his wife Emily their children, Ellie, Phoebe of Monroe, LA; sister, Judy Turner and her daughter, Kenly Bales and her husband Jessie, and great nephew; Arlo Bales of Locust Grove, OK; uncle, Bob Turner of Pryor, OK and extended family. He is proceeded in death by his grandparents; Melvin and Nellie Turner, and Zane and Rose Blackford; and uncle, Larry Turner.
