Jason Michael West, 44, of Douglass, KS, passed away Monday, July 21, 2025 at home. The family will hold a memorial gathering from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 25th, at Church of the Christ in Douglass (201 W 1st St, Douglass, KS 67039). Jason was born in Wichita, KS on March 18, 1981, to the late Bertha (Maness) and James West. He worked in aircraft manufacturing doing sheet metal fabrication for most of his life. Jason enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors. Jason is survived by: longtime partner, Kayla Wallace of Douglass, KS; sons, Dylan West and fiancé Kayla Kelly of Wichita, KS, Hunter West of Douglass, KS, and Fisher West of Douglass, KS; brother, Craig West of El Dorado, KS. Memorial donations to the American Liver Foundation and the Church of Christ in Douglass.
