Jason Michael Wright, age 51, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 6, 2023. He was born on January 31, 1972, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Jason will be greatly missed by his friends, family, and co-workers. He was a very passionate person; we will miss his sarcastic wit, his strong spirit and empathy and care he showed others.
Jason married his wife, Jennifer on July 11, 1998, and together they built a family with the birth of their son, Owen in 2007. Jason was extremely proud of Owen, and some of his greatest joys were spending time doing hobbies such as fishing and snowmobiling.
Jason was an accomplished handyman. He enjoyed fixing things and took great pride in his work. He will be remembered for his incredible ability to complete any type of home improvement project and in doing so he created an amazing and lovely home for his family.
Jason is preceded in death by his father, Grant Wright; and grandparents, Mike and Anita Wright.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Wright; son, Owen Wright; mother, Kathleen (Steve) Payne; siblings, Michael (Amy) Wright and Trisha (David) Robledo; niece, Rachel; and nephews, Raul and Calvin.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 11:30am, with visitation from 10:00am - 11:30am, at Dare's Funeral Home, 805 Main St NW, Elk River, MN. All are welcome to a luncheon at noon at the Elk River American Legion, 525 Railroad Drive, Elk River. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be sent to Tunnel to Towers Foundation in memory of Jason M. Wright.
