He left this world far too soon with a life still full of dreams and potential. The sudden loss of such a wonderful person has shocked and broken the hearts of his beloved family and friends. While we wait to wake up from this nightmare of losing him far too young, we will try to put into words a picture of his life to share with the world. He spent much of his early years in the metro Detroit area, growing up surrounded by friends and family. In his adolescent years, he had moved with his family to the Flint area, then north of Lansing, and spent his last several years living in Fenton, MI.

Jason was a kind, gentle, and easy going person. He was known to be shy and reticent at times, but also had an amazing sense of humor and was always there to help his loved ones. He was known to put others' needs before his own. More than anything, he loved his family. He went to several different high schools, and ended up working on his GED. He had passed three of the four tests, and was scheduled to take his last exam the following week when he tragically lost his life. He worked several different jobs, most recently, he had been working the past year at Potbellys in Brighton, MI.

Jason had hopes to become a college professor or teacher one day. He wanted to inspire and bring positive change to the world. He especially hoped to make a difference for people who had endured difficult childhoods. He made plans with family to continue to learn about car repair and restoration and hoped to restore a truck as a project with them. He also had plans to travel the world. He had already traveled to Italy, Germany, New York, Chicago. He spent time with his family visiting Traverse City and was known to go on many day trips with family driving around and exploring different spots in Michigan. He was a frequent visitor to Canada as well. Jason lived to thrift in his spare time and loved fashion.

Jason is survived by his two sisters, Avery and Grace Adkins, his grandmother, Sarah Zacchi, his girlfriend, Eve Deukmedjian, as well as many special cousins, aunts, uncles, and countless people who loved him because he was truly special. Tragically, he was predeceased by his mother, Amanda Holbrook, and his father, Jason Zacchi (Sr).
