Javar David Brown was born on July 7, 1991, at New York Hospital in New York City. He was raised in New York until 2006, when he and his family moved to Gainesville, Georgia - the place he proudly called home ever since. Javar was the beloved son of Jesse David Brown and Barbara Ann Brown-Allen, who later divorced and both remarried. Javar was a devoted father to Aminah Rose Brown and bonus son, Dorian Kingtavious Dorsey. He was engaged to the love of his life, Jasmine Green, and cherished his siblings: Jamil Cooks, Shatima Cooks, Jessica Jones, Juan Allen, and Juannee' (Devontay) Hickman. He shared a very special bond with his Aunt Evelyn Hopson, who was like a second mother to him, and his cousin, Nicole Alston, who was like another sister. He also deeply loved and honored his Godmother, Shirley Blake, whose guidance and prayers meant so much to him. Javar leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncle, and Godchildren who adored him deeply.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Juanasia Allen, grandmothers, Dorothy Jean Hopson, Ida Mae Brown, and uncle Robert Charles..

Javar was baptized at Free Chapel Worship Center, where he began his lifelong walk with God. He was a God-fearing man who lived by faith and believed in loving people - especially his "BLOOD" brothers whether related by family or by bond. A natural-born leader, Javar had a gift for inspiring others to be their best selves. He took many people under his wing, guiding and encouraging them to grow and do better. To know him was to love him - he made an unforgettable impact on everyone he met.

He was cheerful, confident, and full of life. With his contagious laugh and bright smile, Javar could light up any room he walked into. He loved celebrating life's little moments and making others feel seen and valued. Javar spent his school years on the honor roll and later pursued his passion for cooking, earning a certificate in Culinary Arts from Job Corps. He was an amazing cook and proudly nicknamed himself "Chef Debo." He was also convinced he was the best driver, best dressed, and best looking in the family - and honestly, no one could tell him otherwise! He made a successful career in logistics and sanitation, working hard and providing for his family. There was truly nothing he wouldn't do for the people he loved.

Javar had a deep love for sports, especially football. His favorite teams were the New York Jets and Giants. He played throughout high school at Long Island City High School in New York and Gainesville High School in Georgia. He was resilient, resourceful, and never let life's challenges defeat him. No matter what obstacles came his way, he faced them head-on and came out stronger - a true example of perseverance and faith. Javar's confidence, kindness, and joyful spirit will live on through the countless lives he touched. He was a son, father, fiancé, brother, and friend - but to so many, he was also a protector, teacher, and light. His legacy will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.

Rest easy, Javar - our brother, our chef, our rock. Your laughter and love will echo in our hearts forever.
