Javier Alzen Obituary
1972 - 2022
Sandy - Javier Alzen age 50, passed away on Friday October 14, 2022, at University of Utah Hospital. He was born on March 18, 1972 in Tupiza, Bolivia. He was a longtime resident of Sandy, Utah. He is survived by his loving wife, Carola Gironda, daughter Diana, father Humberto Alzerreca, mother Nelly Segovia, Brother Fernando, sister-in-law Yan Ping, other loving family relatives, work colleagues and friends. Javier attended Utah State University and graduated with a Masters in Microbiology and worked at the University of Utah and ARUP Laboratories. The family would like to express our thanks for the outstanding support to ARUP Laboratories, especially to HR and the Health Family Clinic, laboratory personnel at the clinic for all the help and support during all of the years of Javier's chronic illness. Javier's life's farewell will be celebrated just the way he would want – with a short and simple graveside service on Wednesday, October 19th at 2:00 pm at the Sandy City Cemetery located at intersection 9000 S, 700 E.
