Javier "Tata" Miranda passed away on January 2, 2026, in Bakersfield, California surrounded by loved ones. He was born on February 12, 1959, in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico, Javier lived a vibrant life filled with music, laughter, and heartfelt devotion to his loved ones.

He was the cherished son of Petra and Jose Miranda. Javier embraced life as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Angelina Miranda; his children: Santiago Alcantar Jr., Shady Miranda, and Amanda Chavez; his grandchildren: Augustine Alcantar, Isaiah Horn, Autumn Alcantar, Nathan Chavez, Alayna Alcantar, Noah Chavez, Derek Horn, Anissa Horn, Aryn Alcantar, Jose De La Cruz, Jayden Miranda, Austin Alcantar, and Mia Sanchez; and his great-grandchildren: Sophie Alcantar and Koa Alcantar.

Affectionately known as "Tata," Javier had a magnetic presence that uplifted everyone around him. His love for dancing and singing brought joy to countless gatherings.
