FULTON- Jaxson Ray Gentry McMickin, gained his angels wings on Friday, January 9, 2026. He was born April 23, 2025, to Bradley McMickin and Savanna Gentry in Tupelo, MS. Jaxson, a beloved son, brother, and grandson, passed away at the tender age of 8 months. Though his time on this earth was short, his life was filled with joy, laughter, and love that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. Jaxson was full of personality and curiosity. He loved pulling hair, his sister's, his mom's, and anyone else's he could reach. He had just begun getting his first and second teeth and already showed a great love for eating. One of his favorite things was roaring like a dinosaur, especially when someone roared back so he could roar even louder. When Jaxson crawled, he would often look back with a big grin, proudly showing off what he had just accomplished. Diaper changes turned into games of chase, as he loved to take off laughing while someone tried to catch him. Feeding time with his momma was a special bonding moment that brought comfort and closeness to them both. Jaxson loved being outside, playing in the leaves, and spending time with his daddy while helping build their tiny house. His laughter, bright smile, and loving spirit brought happiness to everyone around him. Jaxson will be deeply missed and forever loved. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who were blessed to know him. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Jonathon Robinson officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, January 16th, at Senter Funeral Home. Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Jaxson is survived by his father, Bradley McMickin, and mother, Savanna Gentry, both of Fulton; sisters, Everly Wilson, and Gaviella Gentry; paternal grandparents, Charles (Brandy) McMickin of Fulton; maternal grandfather, Charles Gentry of Fulton; maternal grandmother, Dusty Mattern of ID; paternal great grandfather, Darrell McMickin of Tremont; maternal great grandparents, Billy (Debra) Johnson of Fulton; maternal great grandmothers, Cathy Riley of ID, and Ethel McPherson; paternal great great grandparents, Mark (Madge) Clayton of Mantachie, and a host of cousins, aunt, uncles, and other family members. He was preceded by his aunt, Moname Gentry.
