Jay was born on November 8, 1955, to Julian and JoAnn (Showers) Drogsvold in Stoughton, WI.
He enjoyed working on cars and trucks and could often be found tinkering with them. He took pride in his collection of patriotic memorabilia and was a longtime NASCAR fan, especially of Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Above all, he cherished the close-knit community he built here in Wisconsin Rapids. The time, laughter, and friendship they shared was very important to him.
Jay is survived by his children, Jason (Stefania) Drogsvold and Justin Drogsvold; grandchildren, Sierra Adams, Aiden Brockman-Drogsvold, Jenna Jones, Arya Drogsvold, Katelynn Drogsvold, and Jordan Drogsvold; siblings, Johnny Drogsvold, Penny Miller and Tina Everingham; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his siblings, Julie Wilson and Lee Drogsvold.
