Jay P. Hight

MINOT - Jay P. Hight, 53, Minot, owner of Hight Construction died on Thursday, November 23, 2023 in a Minot hospital. At the time of death, Jay was surrounded by his family after his brief battle with esophageal cancer.

Jay is survived by his children: Jacob and Taury Hight; parents: LaVerne and Patricia Hight; sisters: Jackie (Brad) Thomas and Michelle Hischer; nephew: Mason Hischer and niece: Madison Hischer.

Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, December 1, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in Little Flower Catholic Church – Minot. A livestream of the service will be available by using the link in Jay's website obituary on the funeral home website.Celebration of the Life of Jay Hight: Friday, December 1, 2023 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Minot Country Club. (1912 Valley Bluffs Drive).Visitation: Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home – Minot.

In lieu of plants and flowers memorials are preferred to the NDSU Student Chapter of AGC, Minot Public School Foundation for Minot High School Girls Basketball, Little Flower Catholic Church Building Fund, Minot Curling Club or organization of donor's choice.
