Mathy Machine was the 1st machine show I worked it , Jay was a great guy .

My Precious Violet, I am so very sorry for what you´re going through. I know you gave Jay such happiness, and such a wonderful life. May God and your family bring you comfort. Please know how much I love you. I am sending you my very best hug, filled with all the love your heart can hold.

I am so sorry to hear of this .
I never met Jay but followed you guys on many of your worldwide journeys and you always seemed so great together. My heart goes out you and offer my sincere condolences. Stay well.

It's hard to find the words to say goodbye to someone who was so awesome. My life was better for knowing Jay. He will be missed and fondly remembered by our family for his kind heart, generous nature, and fun-loving attitude. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend.

I had the pleasure of working for and later with Jay for 37 years. He was a boss, a mentor and a friend. I will miss him, but I will always remember him, as he had a big impact in my life. Rest in peace Jay, as you were loved by many!

The support you always showed me was the quiet kind. That kind that didn't need to be loud. It felt like an "of course" rather than just an "okay". You'll never know how deeply I treasured visiting and watching T.V. and sleeping in the photo room and discovering what a sand blaster was. You shared your love openly and honestly in how you showed me the workshop, the birds outside, the cool gadgets you had, and the best places Indy liked to be pet since she miraculously seemed to enjoy my presence. Your house was warm to me. Your house was rest. My heart is heavy with your loss, but I carry it gladly. It means you mattered to me. I'll carry you with me every time I fix what's broken or build with my own two hands. My love to tinker came from you, and I will let everyone who will listen know it.
